Mathletics operates on a yearly subscription service with buyers needing to repurchase their subscription every school year. Mathletics subscriptions are purchased in two ways.
 

1. School Administration. Principals purchase the program to use as a school wide learning resource.  In some cases, particular teachers may purchase subscriptions for their classes, but more often than not, subscriptions are purchased through school administration for the entire student population to utilize. Costs vary as Mathletics offers a discount for bulk subscriptions but the school rate roughly breaks down to $12 per user per calendar year.
    

2. Parents. Additional subscriptions are purchased by parents who are wanting their children to get some additional learning support at home - whose schools do not offer the Mathletics program. Home subscriptions are also purchased by parents who opt to home-school their children. Home subscriptions are more costly at $99 per year for one user but Mathletics does offer a lower rate if parents have multiple children that would be using the program.
